Herriman City Arts Council recently put on the production of “Frozen Jr.” and “Shrek Jr.” Herriman City residents had the opportunity to attend both of these plays and to be amazed at the production level as well as the acting abilities of all the Herriman youth that took part in this activity. The music was fun and energetic, and the participants of each of these plays were able to really convey a sense of excitement for their art as well as professionalism for their craft.

It was also particularly impressive to see the costume and set design quality of each of these plays. It showed attention to detail as well as mobility to be able to switch from the Frozen setting into the Shrek setting within the matter of an hour. Upon watching each of these plays I was impressed by the support that came from Herriman residents as well. Each play was a packed house and everyone in attendance was intently watching each of the plays and supporting every actor that appeared on stage.

Another exciting piece of information was that the mayor of Herriman city, Lorin Palmer, was in attendance that night and seemed very thrilled and excited to be able to watch each of these plays and support the Herriman Arts youth performance.

We look forward to seeing where these young actors' careers, and craft, take them in the future. In the meantime, if you want any more information on where you can catch plays like this in Herriman, the best place to find information is www.herrimanartscouncil.org
